In the FINCH restaurant, you can enjoy cuisine based on fine ingredients, honest craftsmanship, and a great deal of passion. The historic wooden coffered ceilings from the 1920s give the room a special character – elegant, warm, and authentic.
The wellness area with sauna, steam bath, and modern fitness equipment, as well as the hotel's own tennis court and the immediate proximity to the forest, provide balance. 2. Location, surroundings & arrival
The Waldhotel Stuttgart is located approximately 5 km from the city center.
The U7 and U15 subway lines are about a 5-minute walk away.
There are 36 free outdoor parking spaces in front of the hotel, plus 29 underground parking spaces. The first hour is free, then €3.00 per hour or €15.00 per day.
There are four electric charging stations (including two Tesla stations) in the underground car park.
Yes, we also offer two e-bikes for hire at the Waldhotel Stuttgart. We recommend reserving these in advance.

All rooms offer flat-screen TV (satellite TV), safe, desk, individually adjustable air conditioning, box-spring beds with SWISSFEEL mattresses, bathrobe and slippers, free WiFi/LAN, minibar, a bottle of mineral water, and coffee/tea making facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine in higher categories).
There is no smart TV, but screen sharing from your own device to the TV is possible.
5. Children, families & extra beds
Yes. Children stay at a reduced rate: up to 5 years old stay free in their parents' bed or in a cot, 6–17-year-olds stay at a reduced fixed price in an extra bed plus breakfast; from 18 years of age, the regular price is charged.
Yes. A cot can be provided free of charge for children up to 5 years of age; for older children/teenagers, extra beds are available at a fixed price per night plus breakfast:
- Your children up to 5 years of age can stay in your bed or in a baby cot free of charge.
- Children aged 6-11 can stay in an extra bed in your room for €30.00; breakfast is charged at €16.50.
- Children aged 12-17 can stay in an extra bed in your room for €30.00; breakfast is charged at €33.00.
- For guests aged 18 and over, we charge €60.00 for an extra bed and €33.00 for breakfast.

Yes, dogs are welcome. Please register your four-legged friend when making your reservation. Please note that we charge a fee per night.
You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to our terrace restaurant and to the FINCH restaurant.
A dog set-up awaits your four-legged friend in your room (treats, dog bags, mat with bowl, dog card for the room door). We can also provide a dog bed on request.

Our breakfast buffet is available daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Depending on the type of room you have booked, breakfast is either included or can be added as an option. You will find the relevant information directly in your reservation confirmation.
Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are always guaranteed at the breakfast buffet. The menu at our FINCH restaurant always offers vegetarian and vegan dishes.

8. Wellness area, sauna & sports
The wellness area includes a sauna (90°C), sanarium (60°C), steam bath, ice fountain, experience showers and a fitness area with modern Technogym equipment; there are also relaxation areas and a sheltered outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery.
Our wellness area is reserved exclusively for our guests and is located on the garden level of our main building.

The purchasing management at the Waldhotel Stuttgart focuses on sustainability through fixed delivery intervals, optimized order quantities, and cooperation with partners who pursue environmentally friendly goals. These include regional and organic suppliers, a sustainable laundry service, and a waste management company with energy recovery. Meat, poultry, and fish come from species-appropriate husbandry or controlled aquaculture, baked goods from an organic bakery, and the wine list focuses on regional and European wines. In addition, the use of reusable products is prioritized, while environmentally friendly materials such as palm fiber and glass straws are used for takeaway.
The hotel has a sustainable waste separation system. All waste is sorted at the partner company's facility. Food waste is recycled in a biogas plant in the neighborhood. Grease waste is processed and turned into machine/hydraulic oil.

The Waldhotel is suitable for weddings (including non-religious ceremonies), birthdays, christenings, confirmations/communions, anniversaries, Christmas parties, family celebrations, and corporate events—from small gatherings in the restaurant to large celebrations in the ballroom or Lindensaal.
The largest and most versatile event room, measuring 185 m², is the ballroom, which is flooded with natural light and located in the heart of the hotel. The maximum number of people for banquet events is 80 with a dance floor. The adjacent foyer has space for reception tables or small standing receptions to welcome your guests.
In conjunction with a booked wedding celebration, a free wedding ceremony can take place in the garden.
We are happy to recommend our long-standing partners for decoration, floristry, music, and technology.
In connection with booked celebrations, we are happy to offer your guests a block of rooms at special rates.
